Terms and conditions
1. ELIGIBILITY: This Quizzo Live competition is open to any person resident in the UK who is 16 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees of Microsoft or its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees' families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).
2. TO ENTER: Entry into this Quizzo Live competition (each weekly competition being a "quiz") may only be made by persons who have added the “Quizzo Live” Messenger agent found at
www.quizzolive.com. To enter entrants must answer the ten (10) questions in the quiz. Points are awarded based on the time taken to answer the questions correctly. Only one entry per person per quiz will be accepted. Incomplete, damaged, defaced or illegible entries are invalid. Entry constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Microsoft may disqualify anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions. No purchase necessary.
3. TIMING: The first quiz will commence on Monday 26 October 2009 at 09:00 (GMT) and end on Monday 2 November 2009 at 08:59am GMT. The quiz will run weekly thereafter. Each quiz will start on the relevant Monday at 12:00 pm through to the next Monday at 11:59 am, unless otherwise notified by Microsoft.
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS: Winners will be the top eleven (11) highest scorers from the quiz; the highest scorer will be awarded the main prize and the next ten highest scorers will be awarded second prizes. The winners will be notified via email within forty-eight (48) hours of completion of the quiz. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, through no fault of Microsoft, within (10) ten days, then Microsoft shall select an alternative winner from the highest scorers.
5. PRIZE: The highest scoring player from the quiz will win one (1) Digital photo frame. The subsequent ten (10) highest scorers will each win one (1) £10 play voucher.
Prize as stated and non transferable. No cash or other alternatives available. Microsoft reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
6. WINNERS LIST: The winners consent to their surname and\or “screen name” provided during registration being made publicly available. The winners surname will be available for a period of four (4) weeks after the closing date.
7. OTHER: Every entrant to the competition will also be sent a link from which they will be able to download "Quizzo" content or offers. Entering the quiz constitutes your consent to receive these links. Microsoft cannot guarantee the performance of any third party and shall not be liable for any act or default by a third party.
Nothing in this clause shall limit Microsoft's liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or arising out of fraud.
